This was also Lena's first appointment where she needed to get shots. We were really nervous about having to witness it and see her break out into an horrible cry. The good thing, however, was that she had already started wailing a couple minutes before shot time so when she was actually given the shots, there was no way to know they actually affected her! We really hope she will always break out into a cry before shot time at future appointments.
