We arrived to our hotel around noon on Thursday and hung out in the room and explored the hotel grounds until it was time for our Cinderella character dinner where we met Cinderella, Prince Charming, and Cinderella's evil stepmother and stepsisters. Unfortunately, the pink eye that started with Everett last week and made its way to me a couple days later met up with Lena on the morning we left for our trip. And it definitely seemed to affect her more than me and Everett. That's why her eyes may look a little off but she was still a trooper and seems back to her old self already. Lena was a little timid when Cinderella showed up at the table but jumped right down to meet Prince Charming and the stepmother and stepsisters. The stepsisters were particularly funny. The first one was grossed out having to hold Lena's hand and the other one was after Everett for marriage.
The next day, we started with a breakfast with Lilo and Stitch. Mickey and Pluto were actually there too but they were taking too long and we had places to be so we peaced.
We then headed over to Magic Kingdom. The kids really enjoyed/tolerated the rides and we all had a great time.
Lena's highlight was meeting Belle. My highlight was the awesome parade where we got to see all of the characters on floats. Lena was napping but woke up so she could watch and it was nice for her to see all of her favorites like Belle and the Beast, Rapunzel, and Elsa and Anna. It was a rather cold day but we had a blanket and were pretty comfortable. So all in all, it was a great Day 2!
