visit from joey

Today, my good friend Sarah came over to meet Lena and brought her son Joey.  Joey turned one last month but will actually be the same grade as Lena.  Lena enjoyed watching Joey on the move.  She was a bit more engaged than this sequence indicates, but it was hard to get shots of the two of them because Joey was constantly moving!  This was the first time Sarah had met Lena and I was really looking forward to it because she is one of my best friends and was actually the first person I told I was pregnant with little Lena (aside from Jay, of course).
