sick

Our house has been hit with illness this past week.  It has now hit Jay and I - hence, still no monthly post.  But the sickness started with Lena.  On Sunday, she became feverish and it continued off and on for the next few days.  It was coupled with a runny nose and cough.  We made a doctor's appointment on Wednesday afternoon but cancelled it because she seemed better.  Not so.  She woke up from her afternoon nap sicker than ever.  I confided in our pediatrician friend Bhavna who confirmed we were indeed bad parents and directed that we come to her office at seven at night on Thanksgiving Eve.  Bad parents, yes.  Good doctor and good friend, indeed.  Lena had an ear infection so she is taking some antibiotics and is better already.  Here are a few shots of our visit to Dr. Bhavna so we have Lena's first sick visit documented.  The first couple are either her sick face or her unfamiliar person face.  Not sure which.  But they sure are cute.
